Banksy is one of the most famous street artists in the world. But he is not just an artist, he is an agent of change.

Banksy is a pseudonymous England-based graffiti artist, political activist, film director, and painter. His satirical street art and subversive epigrams combine dark humour with graffiti done in a distinctive stencilling technique. Such artistic works of political and social commentary have been featured on streets, walls, and bridges of cities throughout the world. (Wikipedia, 2013)

Recent Banksy anonymously sold artwork on the streets in Manhattan. Unknowing art patrons buying art at the street vendor were completely unaware who’s art they were buying. (http://tinyurl.com/kuzjb7r)

Despite being famous and world known this artist still surprises me every time. I love his style and his methods. He fascinates me and inspires me.

Your art does not always have to be recognized. You do not always paid for your work or receive credit. As long as you are happy with your work, that is all that matters.

Who inspires you?
